Macmillan coffee morningCome along and join us for a cuppa and a slice of cake and help us raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

When?

The event will run from 10am-1pm, though the Clubhouse will be open until 4pm so you’re welcome to stay as long as you wish, until then.

Where?

We will be holding this in the Clubhouse at Mid Norfolk Shooting Ground, Deighton Hills, Taverham, Norfolk NR8 6HS

What?

Norfolk Shooting Cafe & Clubhouse 3Enjoy tea and cakes all morning in return for donations that will be given to MacMillan Cancer Support. Meet and chat to friends, old and new, and set the world to rights with a cuppa in hand. We will be open for shooting as usual so feel free to join us before and/or after you’ve had a shot.

We’ll be serving teas, coffees and cake in return for donations. ALL are welcome.

If you’d like to help then we’d welcome any cakes that we can sell on the day, along with smiling faces and of course as many donations as we can get.

Why?

Some of you may be aware that Sophie lost her dad, Alvin Stardust, to prostate cancer in October 2014 and MacMillan played a big part in helping Alvin and the family get through the tough times they all faced. We also know that many of you have similar stories and do get involved with a variety of charitable activities to give back. We hope you will support this event and help us raise a great donation for a charity that is close to many of our hearts.

MacMillan’s Mission: There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people, and we want to be there for them all.

One in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. Our goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone. We provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, we’re there for friends and family too. We are Macmillan.
