UPDATE 20th July 2020

Clay Shooting

Our online booking has been a great success and we will continue to book all clay shooting lots in this way for the forseeable future to ensure we maintain safe numbers of shooters on site.

You can book your shooting slot here: www.norfolkshooting.co.uk/book

Air Guns & Archery

If you wish to shoot air guns or do archery you do not need to book online, though if you do wish to loan a gun or bow for your visit you might want to let us know in advance to ensure we have one available for you. If you have any questions please get in touch with us.

Opening Hours

We are now open under our normal opening hours, which you can see at www.norfolkshooting.co.uk/opening-times

Lessons – beginners/novice and have-a-go clay shooting is still unfortunately not available due to the distance restrictions in place, as recommended by the CPSA, the clay pigeon shooting governing body. BUT we are now able to offer lessons to experienced shooters, who have their own gun. This is because the instructors do not need to get as close to help with shooting and enables limited potential contact. Please see the lessons page for more information about this. We will update here as and when this changed.

Group Shoots / Corporate Events – due to the inability for our instructors to get closer than 1m to another person we have decided to not offer any group events for novice shooters until the guidelines change. This is for both the safety of our staff and also the public.

Shotgun licences – we recommend that you carry your licence with you while travelling with your gun.

Social distancing – we will be observing social distancing at all times and ask that you maintain a 1m+ distance from all people outside of your household while on the ground. We have a designated area for you to queue outside the shop and as that you please be patient if needing to wait in the queue. Whilst shooting please avoid queueing on the stands, due to restricted numbers you should be able to find another stand to shoot.

Masks – as of the 24th July it has become law to wear a face covering inside shops. You can see more details about this on the Gov website here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own

Toilets – you will be able to access the toilets using the entrance at the back of the clubhouse (signposted).

Clubhouse – the main clubhouse and café area will be closed at all times, with no food or drink available.

Cleaning – we have hand sanitiser at the entrance to the shop and ask that you use this upon entry. Hand washing is available in the toilets, accessible from the entrance at back of the clubhouse.

Please adhere to all recommended government guidelines while you are on the site.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.
