A few questions we commonly get asked:

—————————————-
How do I book?
—————————————-
You don’t; our have a go is a turn up and shoot offering. We do offer pre-booking for this. You can see the dates above that it is available. If you would like to try shooting at a time and date that suits you, please see our Lessons page for more information.

—————————————-
How old you need to be to shoot clays?
—————————————-
There is no simple answer for this, it’s more based on size and strength to hold a gun. We have all ages from around 8 years old and up that shoot here. If you’re not sure if your child would be able to do it there is a simple solution; pop up and see us and have a look. If you come along and like what you see then you can book in and have a go then and there.

—————————————-
Is it suitable for women?
—————————————-
Yes! Clay shooting is increasing in popularity among women and we have lighter guns if needed. If you’re concerned about weight or kickback, don’t be, why not come along and give it a try this Saturday and you’ll know whether this exhilarating sport is for you. 🙂

—————————————-
What are the facilities like?
—————————————-
The shooting ground is situated in 52 acres and the course of stands is mostly spread out within the wood. It’s a beautiful location all year round. We have a large hard-standing car park and are disabled friendly. We have a modern clubhouse which houses a well-stocked gun shop and café/restaurant. We will be serving food from 10am-2pm so you can fill up on a cooked breakfast of tasty lunch before or after you shoot. We also have snacks, drinks and a bar.

—————————————-
Can I just come and see what it’s like without shooting?
—————————————-

Yes! We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am-4pm and later on Wednesdays. You are welcome to come up and have a look around and chat to us about shooting and what options are available to you. Shooting times vary so it’s best to look at the website or call us to confirm if you’ll be able to shoot when you plan to pop in: https://www.norfolkshooting.co.uk/opening-times/

Can I borrow a gun to shoot?
—————————————-
We do offer both air gun and shotgun loan for your visit shooting with us. Please note that you will need a valid shotgun licence to hire a shotgun. For more information on costs and availability please give the shop a call on 01603860436 before you plan to come 🙂
